What is Hive Choir?

Hive Choir is a queer-affirming singing circle that gathers to learn and share uplifting folk, roots, and medicine songs—songs that move us, ground us, and open our hearts. We sing in rich vocal harmonies, rounds, layers, and chants, and we grow our voices in connection with each other. Each voice matters.

This is not a performance-focused group—it’s a community of learning resonance, opening the voice and heart, and a practice of deep listening.

What does queer-affirming mean?

We explicitly affirm and center queerness as beautiful, sacred, and necessary—in contrast to the dominant culture, which sidelines or suppresses it.

All genders and identities are welcome. Together, we’ll raise our voices in service of love, aliveness, creativity, nature-connection, resistance, and collective liberation.
